Cedar Grove Counseling has served Port Angeles, WA, and the surrounding areas since 2005. Founded on the belief that lasting recovery is built on respect, accountability, and a supportive environment, we provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling backed by nearly two decades of experience.

We offer a comprehensive outpatient treatment program that supports individuals at every stage of recovery—whether beginning treatment, seeking education, preventing relapse, or maintaining long-term wellness. We also provide professional drug and alcohol testing for businesses, families, and individuals, with certified technicians ensuring accurate, confidential results that meet workplace and legal standards. In partnership with local judicial and community agencies, we deliver assessments, treatment, and progress reports for mandated programs.

Meet Our Team

Gill Orr, SUDP | Owner & Executive Director
Gill Orr is a credentialed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) who holds degrees in both Counseling and Computer Science, and has earned multiple professional certifications in Addiction-Free Pain Management, Neurofeedback, and Trauma Treatment.
With more than three decades of experience in the addiction recovery field, Gill has been working with individuals and families since 1987 and has operated Cedar Grove Counseling since 2005. His professional focus includes the integration of neuroscience and trauma-informed care, and his research has explored the role of neurofeedback in improving recovery outcomes for individuals with severe trauma histories.
As a person in long-term recovery himself, Gill believes his personal experience has been one of the most powerful tools in helping others find healing and transformation. His ongoing goal is to continue serving individuals struggling with addiction—chemical or behavioral—with compassion, evidence-based care, and hope for lasting recovery.

Randa Lee | Administrator
Randa Lee coordinates day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and client services so our counselors can focus on care. She partners closely with clinical leadership, manages scheduling and intake, supports contracting and community relationships, and ensures a welcoming, efficient experience for every client across our Port Angeles and West End service areas.

Julie McCoy, SUDP | Treatment Counselor
Julie McCoy supports individuals and families through the journey of addiction recovery and personal transformation. As a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), she offers a non-judgmental, strengths-based approach, helping clients identify root causes, set meaningful goals, and integrate practical coping strategies into daily life. Julie’s warm guidance and commitment to empowerment create a nurturing space for clients to reclaim purpose, rebuild relationships, and foster lasting change

Bret Christianson, SUDPT | Treatment Counselor
Bret Christianson provides compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals and families navigating substance use and recovery. As a credentialed Substance Use Disorder Professional-Trainee (SUDPT), Bret delivers personalized outpatient care—including assessment, relapse-prevention planning, and one-on-one counseling—with a client-centred focus. His grounded presence and genuine care foster a safe environment where clients can work toward healing, personal growth, and long-term sobriety.
